Two local Cub Scout packs will host informational meetings this week. Both events will provide information about future meetings, upcoming activities and an opportunity to register.
According to the Cub Scout website, "Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service."
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age.
