| |  The Burbank Park District will hold its annual Frosty 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Saturday, January 17. All participants receive a long sleeve T-shirt and awards are given to overall winners and 1st and 2nd place winners in each age category. The 5K (3.1 miles) race route is TAC certified. The 1 mile walk is a non-competitive event. Participants may register online, at the Newcastle Park Recreation Center, or on race day. There is a $25 fee for runners and a $15 fee for walkers. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. from the Newcastle Park Recreation Center at 8050 S.
