The purpose of the clinic is to bring industry professionals together and provide information to small business owners who want to grow their business.
The clinic will provide an opportunity for small business owners to meet and network with other local businesses, learn about small business organizations, and attend free business seminars presented by industry professionals.
Local area businesses and government agencies will be on hand to answer questions.
Information sessions will cover such topics as social media for business, workers' compensation, human resources and payroll for small businesses, and information about the Affordable Care Act.
“It [the clinic] was the seed idea of one of our members, Midwest Business Consulting, and they have been phenomenal in making it a reality,” Barbara Karcz, executive secretary of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce, said.
Admission is free for attendees who pre-register or $10.00 for those who register day of the event.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day
“Burbank Park District has donated the use of the Fusion Recplex facility, providing an ideal venue for the Clinic. Starbucks on Harlem Avenue, Corner Bakery, Chuck’s Southern Comforts Café and new member Emilio’s Pizza, are contributing beverage and food items,” Karcz said.
