Pack the kids and a thermos of hot chocolate in the 'Wagon Queen Family Truckster' station wagon and head over to Dennis and Sue Laff's home at 6436 West 85th Place, Burbank to check out one of the best outdoor holiday displays in Chicagoland.
The Laff's electric Christmas light show extravaganza, synchronized to holiday music, is nothing short of amazing!
The Laff's daughter, Jessica Munoz said, "An ABC7 news truck showed up at my parents' house in Burbank last night to film some stock footage of the holiday music and light show. They might feature the show on the 10:00 p.m. news this week."
Shows from years past have featured such songs as You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, Jingle Bells, Wizards In Winter, and Linus and Lucy. New this year is a remix from the popular Disney cartoon Frozen. "Of course, every little kid is thrilled to see it," Munoz said.
"My dad has also added a kid-friendly, interactive feature this year. In between shows, a blinking 'PUSH' sign comes on and colorful buttons light up. The buttons trigger the mini trees to change colors or make Santa tell jokes," Munoz said.
The 40-minute show runs nightly, on the hour, from 7-10 p.m. Viewer’s can tune their car radio to 88.3 FM to listen to the music.
