According to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, there are 13 sex offenders registered in Burbank. Ten have registered addresses in the city, one is homeless, one is in custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections, and one offender has fled the address given on registration records without notification.
Oak Lawn Patch reports registered sex offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween. They may not appear in a Halloween costume or other child-centered holiday character, such as Santa or the Easter Bunny, in public. Registered sex offenders, however, may wear a Halloween costume in their home.
