UPDATE: As of 9:50 p.m. CDT, the City of Burbank's website seems to have returned to normal.
9:00 p.m. CDT
The official website of the City of Burbank, Illinois appears to have been hacked sometime during the evening hours of Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
Visitors to the homepage of www.burbankil.gov, the official city site, were greeted by a statement that read "Hacked By M3aa4 & Mc.Prof & ViRzC" and the following image:
Along with the image is an embedded song that plays automatically after the webpage loads. The song has been identified as "Lullabies" by the artist Yuna.
A Google search of 'M3aa4' yielded a Twitter account by that name that appears to be in Arabic.
A twiends.com account with the name M3aa4 that also appears to be in Arabic seems to list dozens of websites that have been hacked by this individual.
Pages other than the homepage of the Burbank website all displayed an error message that read:
HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
It is unknown if the City of Burbank is aware of this problem at this time or when the website will be returned to normal.
