Local Burbank races reveal few surprises as most candidates ran unopposed. Although some precincts have yet to report, it appears all frontrunners at this time will cruise to victory.
Two notable races tonight:
- The electrical aggregation referendum will pass easily (15 of 16 Precincts Reported).
- In perhaps the most contested local election, Jay Girder (Township Proven Party) leads Raul Aguirre, Jr. (Independent) by a wide margin in the race for Stickney Township Assessor (22 of 23 precincts reported).
