Two men were arrested on the afternoon of Friday, August 23 during a police raid on Frank's Place, a small tavern located at 6353 W 79th St., Burbank. According to Division Chief Mike Dudlo, the Burbank Police Department has been working on an investigation involving the sale of narcotics from the establishment.
Arrested were Frank's Place owner Steve F. Conte, 54, of the 6300 block of W. 79th St., Burbank, and bartender Anthony Hudec, 37, of the 7800 block of S. Moody Ave., Burbank.
Hudec has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Contolled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Conte was charged with multiple counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Equipment, and several violations of local ordinances.
Dudlo said the narcotics probe is still an active investigation and declined further comment on the arrests.
