Police said the pair entered the Phillips 66 located at 5149 W 79th St, Burbank, just before 1 p.m. and demanded money.
A clerk told police one of the men displayed a black handgun.
Division Chief Mike Dudlo, of the Burbank Police Department, said the clerk complied with the gunman’s demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. In addition to the money, the robbers took packages of cigarettes and cigars.
A witness told police the the men ran westbound through the parking lot and entered a waiting beige sedan driven by a third person. The sedan was last seen speeding southbound on Laramie Avenue.
No one was injured during the robbery, according to Dudlo.
Offender one is described as a black male, 16–20 years of age, about 5-feet-9-inches tall, 180–200, wearing sunglasses, face mask, a dark hoodie, and armed with a black handgun.
Offender two is described as a black male, 18–20 years of age, between 5-feet-5-inches and 6-feet tall, 200–230, wearing a maroon shirt, gray pants, with a blue shirt wrapped around his head.
A witness told police the driver of the sedan appeared to be a male Hispanic.
