According to police, the man entered the store about 4:15 p.m., proceeded to the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the store.
Police described the heist as a non-takeover robbery. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, with long dreadlocks and a beard and mustache, approximately 25–30 years-old, between 6-foot and 6-foot-2 inches tall, with a slender build.
The man was wearing a yellow reflective jacket, dark sunglasses, and a black baseball cap bearing a Monster Energy Drink logo.
"The FBI is assisting in the investigation," Burbank Police Division Chief Mike Dudlo said. “It is unknown at this time if this offender is suspected of any other bank robberies.”
